In this paper, we present the case of a female patient with significant stenosis at the ostium of the left common carotid artery (LCCA), which had been successfully treated with stent implantation. After 3 months, selective left carotid angiography revealed a stent fracture and in-stent restenosis at the ostium of the LCCA. The patient was treated with repeated percutaneous intervention with a good long-term result.
